Will a static website rank in Google?
A static website can be highly search-friendly because the page content is directly available in HTML. DAY1WEB includes technical foundations such as descriptive titles, meta descriptions, canonical URLs, semantic headings, sitemap.xml and robots.txt. Search rankings still depend on competition, content quality, authority and ongoing marketing.
Can I use my own domain name?
Yes. The finished website can be connected to your existing domain after it is deployed to Firebase Hosting. If you do not yet have a domain, you can register one with the registrar of your choice.
How does the contact form work without a server?
The standard setup uses Web3Forms, with Formspree available as an alternative. Both can process a normal HTML contact form without DAY1WEB building a custom email backend.
Can the website be updated later?
Yes. Because the project is standard HTML, CSS and JavaScript, the files can be edited later by any competent front-end developer. Larger ongoing content requirements may be better suited to a CMS-based project.
Who owns the website?
After the project is paid for, you receive the completed website files for the agreed scope. You are free to continue using Firebase Hosting or move the static files to another compatible host.
